This course is composed of two major parts:
A course learning module: "Zzzz's and lbs." - which reviews the research and provides information.
An activity component: "Improving Sleep" - which allows you to practice applying the information.
The course learning module consists of a recorded audio-visual lecture, embedded quizzes, and activities (~2 hours).
The activity component (~8 hours) consists of using the assessment tools, developing a sleep behavior plan, communicating the evidence, and trying out the intervention. You will spend the majority of your time in this section, applying and practicing the information you learned from lecture.
We believe that the more you manipulate information, the more you learn.
This course is self-paced meaning that you can complete the parts whenever you want. There is no due date. Complete the lecture at your own pace. Leave and pick up where you left off when you come back. Submit the activity part whenever you want. It is up to you!
